I love this quote.

When people ask me why I think outdoor education is important, I always recite this quote.

In recent decades, humans have lost touch with their connection to the natural world. Since then, we have stopped caring for the planet and the creatures that live here. Increasing access to outdoor education resources and opportunities benefits both those who spend time in nature and the planet. When people spend time outdoors and learn about the plants and creatures, they will want to care for those creatures.

My goal is to create a resource library that increases access environmental literacy resources and empowering everyone to interact with nature on a daily basis.

What are the resources?

These resources will cover a wide range of topics in order to help people learn about nature, outdoor recreation activities, and how to take care of the planet.

Types of Resources:

  • Lesson Plans
  • Interactive Workbooks
  • Curriculum Guides
  • Checklists
  • And more!
  • Parents

No matter your comfort level in the outdoors, my resources make encouraging your child to get outside and interact with nature simple. My resources provide parents with activity ideas, detailed instructions, and help make family time outdoors a lifelong activity.

  • Everyone

When we create connections with nature, we feel a responsibility to take care of the planet. I hope to help others build the confidence they need to get outdoors and give back to the planet.

  • Accessibility

Environmental or Outdoor Education is a subject that is difficult for people to find resources for unless they are working in the field. My goal is to create a library of resources that are easily available, easy to understand, and implemented no matter what you want to learn or teach others.

  • Variety

If you ask anyone who considers them an outdoor lover what they enjoy most about being outside, they will all provide different answers! We understand that and use that idea to create a variety of resources for everyone and about lots of different outdoor and nature-related topics.

  • Build Confidence

Many people don't go outside because they simply don't feel like they have the knowledge or skills to do so. By creating resources that prepare and empower people to get outdoors, I hope to give people the confidence they need to go outdoors and take others with them.
